Gesture sensing lamp! The Gesture Sensing Lamp, a core engineering project, where we explored the scope of power electronics. Here, we tried to control “the ever changing and frequent, high voltage household Alternating Current” with the help of “calm and logical, direct current".

The aim was to control the intensity of an Incandescent bulb, with the help of hand gestures. Which, BTW is the proof of concept. But the possibility of this concept, was beyond our imagination. Going forward with this, we're working on a smart home automation solution, for our interior design projects using sensors to modulate direct current, we can create the intensity of any lighting fixture. This module runs on the Arduino platform.


Tests are on to modulate color, sound and images using this tech developed in-house.
