Last year we started working on the wayfinding program for Sa Pa town square in North Vietnam. Our area of design influence between the lake one end and the Holy Rosary Church on the other. Our design proposal takes inspiration from the beautiful French colonial architecture of the Stone Church & the Saigon Post Office. We have picked up two elements of this iconic building and created a contemporary interpretation in our sign form vocabulary. This form language echoes the softness of Sapa’s landscape and the reflects the striated imagery of the terraced paddy fields. Our work for Candor Tech Space, Brookfield Asset Management's IT/ITES special economic zone wayfinding program is finally in its prototyping phase! After nearly 18 months of deliberating on design and working on developments that are constantly evolving, we now have the go ahead to execute our designs for two sites, each with nearly 2 million sqft of offices spread over acres of land. We have extended the corporate mantra of 'add life to your days' into our information system by creating a series of info-graphics that inform and encourage good living practices. Along with the information scheme, we are also excited to see the integration of large format external digital screens into the sign system. Waiting to see this scheme implemented at site!
